RightFax
v8.0 Released
This
release introduces a number of enhancements that benefit both RightFax
users and administrators. Featuring
Microsoft Active Directory synchronization, digital encryption and
certified document delivery, RightFax v8.0 is certified for Windows
2000 Server and Windows 2000 Advanced Server, including support
for Microsoft Cluster Server. RightFax v8.0 also supports the new
Windows and Office XP platform. In addition, enhancements have been
made to the RightFax Gateways for Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange,
RightFax Filter for Production, InternetLink and the COM Module.

RightFax
v8.0 will make a substantial impact for companies in the following

- SecureDocs will ensure that confidential documents are securely
delivered with confirmation of receipt. Users have the option of
sending an encrypted document or a link to the password protected
document.
Manufacturing
- Enhancements to the RightFax Filter for Production include graphical
user interface (GUI) and eliminate the need to write code in facsimile
command language (FCL). This feature allows drag-and-drop techniques
that simplify integration with business-critical applications.
Financial/Banking
- Security and reliability are primary concerns to financial organizations.
RightFax v8.0 with enhanced security features and improved integration
modules will ensure users can delivery electronically, confidential
information from within your network environment. The AutoReply
feature also provides documentation of delivery and a thumbnail
view of the fax.
Healthcare
- SecureDocs is a cost effective alternative for delivering encrypted
e-documents over open networks and assures compliance with HIPAA
regulations on privacy. In addition, improved e-document delivery
features integrate seamlessly in an EDI environment and allow for
the delivery of large amounts of HIPAA required content via fax
or email.
Travel/Hospitality
- Improve customer service by using the new AutoReply feature, which
provides automatic confirmation of a fax receipt. The InternetLink
module will increase production fax and email capabilities by allowing
redundancy in the delivery of critical business documents via fax
or email. In addition, the MultiPart/Alternative feature now allows
the body of the message to be represented with HTML or PLAIN/TEXT
views.

RightFax
v8.0's new and enhanced features can immediately add significant

utilized by a knowledgeable administrator and supported by a vendor

ensure our customers get the most from their RightFax solution,
Instant InfoSystems has developed a special RightFax package for
customers who upgrade to RightFax v8.0. Upgrade customers, who use
IIS Systems Engineers for the upgrade implementation, attend (or
have attended) IIS RightFax training and maintain an IIS support
agreement (through 2002), will receive, FREE, an IIS Fax
Server Certification, an IIS Fax Server "Tune-Up", and
one IIS RightFax v8.0 Upgrade Class (a $3,100 value). This offer

- RightFax
v6.0 End-of-Life date is October 31, 2001. RightFax v6.0 is currently
not available for purchase or distribution and will not be supported
by Instant InfoSystems or Captaris after October 31, 2001. RightFax
v6.0 Customers need to upgrade to RightFax v8.0, immediately,
to ensure current support plans remain in effect.
- CallXpress
6.0 Released with more Advanced Speech and Unified Messaging Capabilities.
CallXpress supports both circuit and packet-based switches, including
native IP support for Cisco AVVID. Multiple types and makes of
PBXs can be integrated to a single CallXpress Unified Messaging
solution. In addition, the Captaris Speech module improves support
for an increasingly mobile workforce.
- RightFax
v8.0 & Infinite Mobile Delivery "Webinars" rescheduled
for October. Learn about the new RightFax features and how Infinite
can remotely access email and other data using a wireless device.

Tech
tips
Never
scan RFBOARD or RIGHTFAX folders with anti-virus software while
RightFax services are running. Scanning these folders will cause
application errors and /or RightFax database corruption. Change
your anti-virus software settings to avoid RightFax software folders.
