Proactive Discovery Management - A New Best Practice for
Electronic Discovery
The average Fortune 500 company today experiences 125
non-frivolous lawsuits at any given time. How prepared is your
organization to respond quickly in the event of a legal request
for electronic documents? The volume of data is overwhelming.
Stacks of backup tapes, hundreds of email custodians, millions
of electronic communications. How long would it take you to find
and restore the data for the few custodians relevant to the
case?
This white paper details the challenges, risks and growing
costs associated with electronic discovery and sets forth a new
practice - proactive archiving. An independent expert in
electronic discovery explains the current processes and
practices and spells out the key elements of this new practice.
This white paper includes a brief sample ROI and concludes with
a summary of the benefits of proactive archiving? A new practice
experts believe reduces the risks and costs associated with
electronic discovery.

FOIP – Which IP Call Protocols are supported for FOIP?
RightFax 9.3 FP1b HF3 supports two configurations using Fax Over IP (FOIP): Cantata FOIP solutions 1) TR1034 hardware, and 2) software-based SR140. Both of these solutions only support SIP or H.323 for the IP call protocol in setting up a T.38 fax call over IP. The gateway that you communicate with may support other protocols, however for the gateway-to-fax server communication, only SIP or H.323 are supported.
The Brooktrout SR140 transport is a software-only edition of fax over IP that uses the H.323 and SIP protocols. SR140 does not require a fax board. All SR140 channels require license key activation.
