ZANTAZ EAS for SharePoint
ZANTAZ released Enterprise Archive Solution (EAS) version 5.0 in July 2006. Most notable in this release is the introduction of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server as a natively supported archive source - this is a new product in the EAS family known as EAS for SharePoint.

EAS for SharePoint allows organizations to proactively and efficiently manage corporate information assets. ZANTAZ EAS for SharePoint enables your organization to create an efficient, searchable archive for the retention, management and control of all SharePoint content in addition to email and NTFS file systems, leveraging a single archive engine.

Large enterprises with multiple locations can take advantage of the inherently scalable architecture, engineered to address massive, distributed information management requirements. ZANTAZ EAS for SharePoint provides a uniquely flexible and powerful policy engine that enables your organization to archive SharePoint content according to your own specific strategies, without impacting end users. Administrators can configure the archive and exemption of files according to such policy parameters as size, date, age, location, file name and file type.

RightFax 9.3 Upgrade details
As of February 17, 2006, Captaris no longer supports RightFax 8.5. Additionally, most Brooktrout TR114 fax boards have also been discontinued. So, if you have either of these products, we strongly recommend upgrading to RightFax 9.3.

IIS licensed engineers have tested and evaluated this version and endorse the upgrade. We do however, caution system administrators that the installation and upgrade is a highly technical initiative, requiring skills in SQL, Active Directory and the new RightFax database structure.

IIS has already successfully installed and migrated several RightFax 8.5, 8.7 and 9.0 systems for a number of our customers. To get started today, contact Glen at 310-750-7263 or email him at gkanzer@instantinfo.com

Top Five Benefits of Integrating RightFax with Multifunction Products (MFPs)
Anyone that has ever managed multiple printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines knows that consolidating these services on a MFP can save valuable time, resources and office space. Smart organizations are integrating electronic fax and document delivery software with their MFPs to further extend the cost, time and productivity savings of MFPs.

Top five benefits of automating your MFP'S fax feature include:

1. Control costs by further consolidation
2. Improve productivity and efficiency
3. Extend infrastructure investments
4. Safeguard security and corporate compliance
5. Easy deployment and management

New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) integrated RightFax with their MFPs, email, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other applications to reduce costs and streamline communications.
