Instant InfoSystems and Rockwell Electronic Commerce Torrance, CA, — May 15, 2000 —Instant InfoSystems, a leading value added reseller headquartered in Southern California, has entered into a distribution partnership with Rockwell Electronic Commerce, a business of Rockwell Corporation (NYSE: ROK). Under the agreement, Instant InfoSystems will market and distribute Rockwell’s award-winning Contact Integration Manager (CIM) media-blending solution, Call Center Studio (CCS) agent desktop solution and Transcend NT-based, multimedia customer contact application. The alliance will allow Instant InfoSystems to add multimedia customer contact center solutions to its proven product offerings in the computer telephony arena. “Transcend is an excellent fit for Instant InfoSystems and will greatly expand the offerings and value they can provide their customers," said Bill Tatnall, Vice President, Indirect Channels and Business Development, Rockwell Electronic Commerce “Rockwell’s Transcend gives us the opportunity to provide a “ best in class” multimedia contact center product based on the industry-standard Windows NT platform,” said David Klein, President of Instant InfoSystems. “We made the decision to distribute Rockwell Electronic Commerce’s Transcend product due to its extensive product features, which will greatly expand the capabilities that we're able to offer our customers—particularly those with small to mid size call centers. We look forward to participating in the expanding contact center market and to our partnership with Rockwell.” Rockwell Transcend e.Commerce Edition contact routing application features media-blending capabilities that unify and manage customer interactions across the full range of customer contacts including voice, Web, e-mail and fax. Customized customer relationship management (CRM) solutions can also be quickly developed and delivered to agent desktops using Rockwell’s Call Center Studio.
